Job Summary
We are looking for a highly reliable, hands-on and resourceful Shore-Based Project Support Coordinator to support a major offshore marine operation from ashore.
This is not an offshore position. You will be the project's local representative in Cuxhaven, providing practical operational and logistical support to ensure the project runs smoothly. The role requires someone who can think on their feet, react quickly to changing priorities, and solve problems efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the local point of contact for the project team.
- Respond to time-critical operational requests, often at short notice.
- Collect and transport project personnel to and from airports, hotels, ports or other locations.
- Source, purchase and deliver tools, equipment, consumables and other operational items as required.
- Coordinate local deliveries, collections and transport arrangements.
- Liaise with local suppliers, service providers and port-related businesses.
- Assist with day-to-day logistical coordination and resolve operational issues as they arise.
- Remain available on a 24/7 on-call basis to support urgent project requirements.
Requirements
✔ Based in Cuxhaven or the immediate surrounding area.
✔ Excellent knowledge of the Cuxhaven port area and local services.
✔ Flexible, proactive and able to work independently.
✔ Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
✔ Valid driving licence. Own vehicle preferred (a company van can be provided if required).
✔ Able to respond quickly to urgent operational needs at any time.
