Nigeria is preparing to present a portfolio of investment-ready oil and gas projects at the China Dongying International Petroleum and Petrochemical Equipment and Technology Exhibition (CDYPE 2026), taking place 28–30 September 2026 in Dongying, China.
The initiative aims to connect Nigerian government institutions, regulators and indigenous energy companies directly with Chinese financiers, engineering companies, equipment manufacturers and technology providers to secure funding, partnerships and technical expertise for energy projects.
The initiative demonstrates Nigeria's effort to attract foreign capital, technology and engineering expertise to accelerate its oil and gas sector.
Rather than simply seeking investors, the country is positioning specific projects for financing and implementation, potentially creating opportunities across the entire project lifecycle—from engineering and procurement through construction, commissioning and operations.
